When Krishna leaves Vrindavan village for the pasturing grounds, where He tends the calves with His friends. The gopis see Him walking on the path and think that His soft lotus feet are being pierced by broken chips of stone. They cry at home thinking of Him constantly and how He will come back only at dusk.
