Rama is the central figure of the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana, a spiritual text historically popular in the South Asian and Southeast Asian cultures. Hindu Monkey God Hanuman is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. This is painted in the classical style of the old masters, there are twenty layers of glazing. If I had to dedicate this artwork to anyone, I would dedicate it to Titian, who advised his students to paint with at least 30 layers of glaze.
