Govardhana is an 8 km long hill located near the town of Vrindavana, in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is considered sacred especially in the Vaishnava traditions within the Vedic tradition. I painted this for one of my clients who likes the more two-dimensional style of old India.
