Krishna and Balaram are leaving with the cowherds boys, leading the calves to the pastures, while the gopis hiding in the bushes are following them from afar. They are worried that Krishna's lotus feet will be wounded by stones and pebbles. They say: " our minds are filled with anxiety that Your tender feet might be wounded by pebbles as You roam about on the forest path."
