During His travels through northern India, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu made His way towards Vṛndavana and its surrounding areas. On His journey through the jungles of Jarikhanda (Madhya Bharata), something remarkable happened. The wild animals, including tigers, elephants, bears, and deer, joined Him in His sankirtana movement. As the Lord chanted and glorified the holy name, the animals followed, showing that the power of sankirtana (congregational chanting of the Lord's name) can bring peace and harmony even among the wildest of creatures. If this is possible for animals, what to speak of men, who are meant to be civilized?
